Explore California Outdoors is a product of almost 40 years professional experience developing and leading outdoor excursions by a career guide and long time recreational business owner.
We are fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful and biologically diverse areas in the U.S. From the Cascade mountains to the Redwood Coast, Northern California's unique geography and climate create a majestic landscape which supports a high diversity of geographic and ecological diversity.
In today's modern age escaping to these landscapes to recharge and reconnect is a vitally important activity crucial to our physical and mental health and well being.

Our mission is to inspire and enable people to explore the outdoors with greater frequency and to foster mutual respect for one another and the landscapes we visit.
By drawing on our extensive outdoor guiding experience, we aim to unite people to enjoy and explore the outdoors in a relaxed and caring atmosphere that encourages respect for one another and for the places we explore. Through these efforts, we aim to foster joy and help make the world a better place.
