Outdoor Education Trips in Northern California

Let's get kids into the outdoors learning about the natural world.

We design custom educational outings (from a few hours to a few days) that can provide students the opportunity to learn scientific and environmental principles outside of the classroom and to witness first hand the real world challenges and successes scientists face as they work to identify and mitigate human impacts to our environment.

If you are an educator or home school interested in getting your classroom or group out into the field we can help by providing assistance including itinerary development, pre-trip preparations, and all inclusive logistics throughout the trip experience. The outdoors offers an excellent classroom for experiential learning and our approach makes organizing an outdoor education trip for your group easy and fun!

Explore California Outdoors offers these outdoor education programs for youth groups at substantially discounted rates, and may be able to help with scholarships, grants, and partnerships.
