Our campsite features picnic tables, a fire pit, and plenty of room to spread out. There are clean outhouse style facilities (no flush toilets) a short walk from our site and water spigots are available. Our camp kitchen will provide infrastructure for washing hands and water for drinking.
You'll be camping approximately 5 miles from Manzanita Lake where you will find pay showers, flush toilets, coin operated laundry, and a camp store with ice and basic supplies.

Camp Manager(s)- You will meet our staff at the campsite. They will show you around, get you oriented to your surroundings and our camp set-up, and will provide you with your camp gear and instructions on how to use it. Make your self comfortable!
Equipment- Our roomy 4 person tents comfortably accommodate 2 people (but fit up to 4 if you prefer). If you are traveling solo you will get your own tent. Each tent will include a solar powered lantern. Note: you must bring your own sleeping bag and pad which may be rented if you do not have your own.
A detailed personal packing list will be provided when you book your trip. Our camp also includes a complete kitchen set up allowing us to prepare terrific meals for the group, bug shelters if necessary, camp chairs, hand washing stations, and more.
Meals- Our Lassen Volcanic National Park camping trip includes all meals beginning dinner day 1 to lunch day 4. Our lunch buffet will be available each morning for you to pack and take with you for the day. Dietary restrictions can generally be accommodated. Each participant will fill out a questionnaire prior to their trip regarding food allergies and preferences and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Activities- Activities in Lassen Volcanic National Park are plentiful and include exploring active steam vents, day hiking, lake kayaking (kayaks are available for rent at Manzanita lake), swimming, fishing, and more. If you are feeling up to the challenge climbing Mt Lassen is always a great day!
All of our trips are participatory in nature with everyone casually contributing in small ways to camp logistics. For example setting up and taking down your tent, washing your own dish after meals, etc. Beyond these small contributions we'll take care of the rest. We have very well established systems (developed over 25 plus years conducting professionally guided camping trips) that make these "camp chores" simple, quick, and easy.
NOT INCLUDED
Transportation, sleeping bags and pads, and park entrance fee.
We provide additional materials to help you prepare for your trip when you book with us and are here to help you in any way we can.
